Meet the Founder
Samantha Brett
Naked Sundays was born out of necessity and passion, driven by our founder, Samantha Brett. As a television news reporter, Samantha spent countless hours under the scorching Australian sun, with heavy makeup and intense camera lights. Despite the alarming prevalence of skin cancer in Australia, she quickly realized there was no effective way to reapply SPF throughout the day. After witnessing two colleagues undergo surgery to remove skin cancers from their faces, Samantha knew it was time for change.
Drawing on her experience working with top makeup artists and skin experts worldwide, she saw the challenges they faced in finding an SPF that didn’t leave a white cast, didn’t pill under makeup, and could be reapplied over makeup—something that had never been done before. Thus, Naked Sundays was created: a revolutionary SPF designed for women, by women, catering to makeup wearers and anyone seeking effortlessly radiant skin without a complicated routine.
