Warnings
USES: Helps prevent sunburn • If used as directed, with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreased the risk of skin cancer, and early skin aging caused by sun.
WARNINGS: For external use only • Do not use on damaged or broken skin • When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. • Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs • Keep out of reach of children. If product is swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
DIRECTIONS: Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure • Reapply at least every 2 hours • Use a water-resistant sunscreen, if swimming or sweating • Sun Protection Measures • Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures, including: • Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. • Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses • Store between 15°C/59°F - 30°C/86°F • Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor

How to use

This is my absolute favourite sunscreen that I have used every day for years since I discovered it. It feels great, makes my skin look great, and has kept my face wonderfully burn-free even in very high UV situations. However, it’s extremely important to me to use 100% mineral sunscreen, and I’ve become aware that the environmental working group recently flagged the ingredient butyloctyl salicylate as a potentially problematic ingredient with the properties of a chemical filter, interpretable as an unregulated chemical sunscreen that raises SPF rating without adequately filtering some frequencies of UV. I have observed this ingredient is common in modern formulations and is likely a strong contributor to this formula’s great texture, but I have concerns about it and feel it may be necessary to explore other sunscreen options. Naked Sundays’ mineral perfecting primer is possibly the next best option but I find the thick texture a bit more difficult to fully embrace.
