Our Story
Naked Sundays is your SPF "BeautyScreen" - a hybrid between sunscreen & skincare. We are Vegan & Cruelty Free with zero whitecast, packed skin-loving ingredients, high performance SPF made in Australia (with the strictest SPF rules in the world!) and cute AF packaging to boot.
WHY WE LAUNCHED!
We launched out of sheer necessity. Our founder, Samantha Brett, has been a television news reporter out on the road in the blazing sun for hours on end with heavy makeup and bright camera lights. Despite the prevalance of skin cancer in Australia, Samantha quickly found that there was no way to top up her SPF.
After witnessing two colleagues have to get skin cancers cut out of their faces, Samantha knew something needed to be done.
After working with the best makeup artists and skin experts in the world as part of her career under bright studio lights, she knew they too struggled to find an SPF that didn't throw whitecast, didn't pill under makeup, could be reapplied OVER makeup (never been done before) and double up as skincare too.
So ... Naked Sundays was born. An SPF for women, by women with makeup wearers in mind, and those who just want damn good skin without a 5-step process.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
We are vegan friendly and cruelty free, with no oxybenzone, no octinoxate, no whitecast, no mineral oil, no parabens and no BS. We are also free from sulfates (SLS/SLES), GOs, petrolatum or synthetic colours. Our cremes, serums and lotions are 100% fragrance free too.
